Rebecca Laird is our Founder & Executive Director who helps run our After School programs, teaching Emeralds (age 6-8 beginner ballet), Rubies (older beginners/adult ballet) and Dancing Miracles (for those with special needs).  As a child, she studied gymnastics and participated in Colour Guard, but in her heart, she always wanted to learn ballet.  This dream was finally realized in her adult years, first in a worship/liturgical dance setting, then, as worship dance team leader for 17 years at Pioneer Christian Fellowship, and finally as a classical ballet student under the distinguished Sarah Badger in Houghton (now Genesee Dance, Perry, NY).  Continuing her ballet training under Master Teacher Carolyn Fisher, she was approved for pointe at 42 years old.
Mary George has been dancing since 2007 when she was 3 years old.  She started dancing at Grace in 2015 and began teaching in 2019. This year she will be teaching Tap at all 4 levels as well as the first 3 Jazz levels. Outside of dance she works in residential and commercial construction and is heavily involved in her family dairy farm.

Micaela Smith has been dancing since 2004. She specializes in ballet and also has experience in tap. “Teaching ballet is something I truly enjoy, and I feel grateful to share my love of dance with others. Outside the studio, I work at a local public school and spend time at a nearby horse farm. I also volunteer as a Youth Leader at my church, which is a meaningful part of my life. In my free time, I enjoy horseback riding, photography, and dancing—all of which bring creativity and balance to my day-to-day.”

Emily Smith has been dancing since 2004 and specializes in ballet, both as a dancer and a teacher. With a background in tap and jazz, she brings a well-rounded approach to the studio, but her true passion lies in sharing the beauty and discipline of ballet with her students. Outside of the dance studio, Emily works as a Physical Therapist Assistant at a local outpatient clinic, where she enjoys helping others regain strength and mobility. She also spends time working on a horse farm, combining her love for animals with hands-on care. In her free time, Emily enjoys dancing, horseback riding, gardening, and spending time with family and friends. Her dedication to movement, whether in the studio, clinic, or outdoors, reflects her passion for helping others and living a well-balanced, active life.
